Users

The average user should be happy with the latest release.
Releases are easier to install and supposed to be stable.
Download the rivatv-0.8.5 release, read the README and have fun.

For the brave

If you want the absolute bleeding, cutting edge in the rivatv experience, you need to pull rivatv from CVS. CVS can have the bugfixes and features you've always wanted, but also be much less stable than a release. Be aware of that.
Pulling from CVS:
	$ cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/rivatv login
        [when asked for a password, simply press enter]
        $ cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/rivatv co rivatv
To build:
	$ cd rivatv
	$ ./configure
	$ make clean all
Then load the decoder module you need, then rivatv.o.
If you have no idea what that meant, read the testers guide.
